If I am awake, O Waheguru, it is by Your Will;
If I am asleep, it is also by Your Will.
If I have arrived in America, it is by Your Will;
If I am deported, it is also by Your Will.
If wealth comes my way, it is by Your Will;
If I become destitute, it is also by Your Will.
If an accident occurs, it is by Your Will;
If I recover thereafter, it is also by Your Will.
If I am riding high on success, it is by Your Will;
If I face infamy, it is also by Your Will.
If I receive honor, it is also by Your Will.
Tell me, O Waheguru, what can a lowly one like me do apart from Your Will?

ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਗ ਗਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ
ਜੇ ਸੌਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ
ਜੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ
ਜੇਕਰ ਡਿਪੋਰਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ
ਜੇ ਅਮੀਰੀ ਆ ਗਈ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ
ਜੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ
ਜੇ ਐਕਸੀਡੈਂਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ
ਜੇਕਰ ਫਿਰ ਠੀਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ
ਜੇਕਰ ਬੱਲੇ ਬੱਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ
ਜੇਕਰ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ
ਜੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ
ਦੱਸ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਨਾਚੀਜ਼ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ
