 ਗਉੜੀ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ॥ ਆਪੇ ਪਾਵਕੁ ਆਪੇ ਪਵਨਾ ॥ ਜਾਰੈ ਖਸਮੁ ਤ ਰਾਖੈ ਕਵਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਾਮ ਜਪਤ ਤਨੁ ਜਰਿ ਕੀ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਚਿਤੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਕਾ ਕੋ ਜਰੈ ਕਾਹਿ ਹੋਇ ਹਾਨਿ ॥ ਨਟ ਵਟ ਖੇਲੈ ਸਾਰਿਗਪਾਨਿ ॥੨॥ ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਅਖਰ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਖਿ ॥ ਹੋਇਗਾ ਖਸਮੁ ਤ ਲੇਇਗਾ ਰਾਖਿ ॥੩॥੩੩॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 329}

ਅਰਥ:  ਖਸਮ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਆਪ ਹੀ ਅੱਗ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹਵਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ) ਸਾੜਨ ਲੱਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕੌਣ ਬਚਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?।1। 

(ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ) ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਸਰੀਰ ਭੀ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸੜ ਜਾਏ (ਉਹ ਰਤਾ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ) ।1। ਰਹਾਉ। 

(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਨਾਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਸੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਨਾਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਸਭ ਥਾਈਂ) ਨਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੇਸਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, (ਭਾਵ, ਕਿਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਸਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ) ।2। 

(ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਹੇ ਕਬੀਰ! (ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ) ਇਹ ਨਿੱਕੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਖ਼ਸਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ (ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਲੋੜ ਪਏਗੀ, ਆਪ ਹੀ) ਬਚਾ ਲਏਗਾ।3। 33। 

ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ: ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਰਾਖਾ ਹੈ, ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਵਿਗਾੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ; ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਦੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਖੇਡ, ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। 33।

Meaning: Khasam (Lord) Himself is fire, He Himself is air. If He Himself starts burning (the living being), then who can save him? 1.

(Whose) mind is attached to the Name of the Lord, even if his body gets burnt while meditating on the Lord (he does not care). 1. Stay.

(Because the one who performs Bandgi has the certainty that) neither anything burns nor does anyone suffer any harm; the Lord Himself is playing (everywhere) like the disguises of a dancer, (that is, sometimes He Himself is causing harm, and sometimes He Himself is suffering that harm). 2.

(Therefore) O Kabeer! (You) remember this small thing that if Khasam is pleased, then He Himself will save (wherever there is a need, He Himself will). 3. 33.

Meaning of the word: With the blessings of meditation, one becomes convinced that the Lord Himself is the protector everywhere, no one else can harm anyone; He Himself is playing every game of the world. 33.
